Karnali Blues is the Madan Puraskar wining Nepali Novel by Buddhi Sagar Chapain.This is a story of a man from the remote areas of far western region of Karnali Nepal who narrates the story of his father's struggle to find a better future for the family and loves his son very much, the narrator recalls his memories from the childhood how his father loved him and forgave all his childhood stupid acts and his father continuously moved from place to place and changed his job until he was old and became weak and sick at hospital. The entire Novel has been an excellent presentation of father's struggle from his young, teen and an adult son and the pre and post development of small towns in western Karnali region which was severely affected by the Maoist War.
