Seto Bagh is a famous Nepali novel by veteran Nepali writer Diamond Shamsher Rana.This is a document of Nepal's history during the Rana Regime in Nepal where the notorious Rana Prime Minister Jung Bahadur with his cunning intellect and wide knowledge about international

relationships, unprecedented army power, political trick and support from British Colony, succeeds to obtain the Shree 3 Crown which he will manage to pass on to his brothers in succession. Jung Bahadur had a very good and close relationship with the British Queen Victoria as he helped to suppress the possible Indian revolt against the British Colonial rule in India. The British authority had suggested him to establish the parliamentary system in Nepal, but Jung Bahadur Rana didn't listen to anyone and continued his dictatorial rule. His daughters and sons were married in the Kings family who later tried to overthrow the Rana Rule that invited several conspiracy and murders resulting his final days in loneliness and his son was also killed in the political conspiracy. Rana rule started by Jung Bahadur Rana continued for 104 years until it was overthrown by the people's democratic movement in 1951.

In this novel,  novelist Diamond Shamsher Rana has revealed several historical insights of the cause, motives and the consequences of the events inside the Royal Palace.
