In this novel the writer has described the feelings of a women who got married at the age of 7 and got widowed at the age of 9 without her knowledge. According to her parental religion that is Hindu, She had to wear the white dress for her entire life and avoid all kind of colorful clothes, make ups, looking at and making friend with men, joining at crowds and any kind of entertainment The story takes place during the post Rana Regime and Pre Democracy and Panchayat system in Nepal.Here the writer has described all the characters including animal and plants, the earth everything becomes alive and talks each other making the whole events alive.
